MARCH - AGM
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the sub-Branch will be held on the 3rd Friday of March, preceded by the Monthly Meeting at 1400hrs, as per clause 48.1.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) nominations close 1300hrs, 14 days prior to the meeting as per clause 47.3.
APRIL - ANZAC DAY
Dawn Service: Will commence at 0530hrs on the 25th April, at the War Memorialat the corner of Clarence & Horton Streets. All ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend.
Main Service: The march will commence at 1000hrs and the commemoration service at 1030hrs, at the War Memorial at the corner of Clarence & Horton Streets. All ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend.
AUGUST – VICTORY IN THE PACIFIC & VIETNAM VETERANS DAY
1100hrs on the 15th August a service will be held at the War Memorial on the corner of Clarence & Horton Streets to commemorate the Anniversary of the Victory in the Pacific, all ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend.
1100hrs on the 18th August a service will held at the War Memorial on the the corner of Clarence & Horton Streets to commemorate Vietnam Veterans' Day (Long Tan Day), all ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend.
SEPTEMBER – SEPTEMBER 11TH COMMEMORATION SERVICE
1100hrs on 11th September a Commemorative Service will be held on Sunday 2016 at 11:00am at the War Memorial Port Macquarie to commemorate the September 11 attack on the Twin Towers in America which was also the day that Australia first committed troops to Iraq and ultimately Afghanistan. The service will be conducted by the Port Macquarie RSL sub-Branch in conjunction with Veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
All ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend and take a moment to pay respect to the memory of those who died or suffered in service for their country.
NOVEMBER - REMEMBRANCE DAY
1045hrs on the 11th November a service will be held at the War Memorial Green at the corner of Clarence & Horton Streets to remember our departed comrades and those who suffered in all wars and armed conflicts, all ex-service personnel and members of the public are invited to attend.
