The Australian Government recently released the Australian Defence Veterans’ Covenant to recognise and acknowledge the military service of Veterans and their families. The Covenant includes an oath, a new Veteran card and a lapel pin.
The Veteran card is the card that is referred to as the White Card, and a number of our local Veterans have contacted the office to seek assistance to apply for the card. While the online application is encouraged, we appreciate that not everyone is able to use the computer to create the “MyService” account to apply. As a result, the sub-Branch office has printed the application form and the identification requirements for Veterans to complete and mail to DVA.
